Specialist rehabilitation psychologist
I am a licensed rehabilitation psychologist (License Number 127804), and a senior lecturer in the psychology department at Ariel University in Israel.
My research focuses on trauma, its aftermath, and its impact in the contexts of the general population, military, and immigration. Also, I am particularly interested in the complex relationship between the mind and body in chronic diseases, with a special focus on adults and children with multiple sclerosis.
I conduct research among various traumatized populations, including combatants, war veterans, ex-POWs and their children, refugees, and individuals diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and other chronic diseases. Additionally, I am involved in cognitive research and its relation to various manifestations of multiple sclerosis.
As a clinician, I am trained in psychoanalytic and CBT techniques. I serve as the head of a psychological unit at the Multiple Sclerosis Center, Sheba Tel Hashomer Medical Center, and
also see patients at my private clinic.
