THE LAB
Our work mainly focuses on trauma and its manifestations, and also covers
psychological aspects of chronic diseases, as well as cognitive performance.
Our approach to psychological science is based on the underlying assumption that
the most important questions to be answered empirically are those which translate
easily to clinical work. More specifically, our projects revolve around several main
goals
To examine factors associated with resilience and vulnerability in the face of trauma and adversity
To identify unique, complex patterns of psychopathology, with an emphasis on psychiatric co-morbidity
To explore new ways of providing high-quality psychotherapy to patients suffering from stress-related disorders
